CIP Energy (CEO Baek Seung-min) announced on the 18th that it has been selected for the “2025 Gyeongsangbuk-do Innovative Energy Venture Technology Startup Support Program.”

CIP Energy is a specialized sodium secondary battery company, operating a vertically integrated business model from anode material development to cylindrical cell and battery pack manufacturing. According to the company, sodium secondary batteries are recognized as a key component of next-generation energy storage systems.

The “Gyeongsangbuk-do Innovative Energy Venture Technology Startup Support Program” supports promising startups in Gyeongsangbuk-do, aiming to accelerate technology commercialization, enable rapid market entry, and foster corporate growth.

CIP Energy was selected for its expertise in sodium secondary battery materials and high growth potential. Through this program, the company will receive comprehensive support, including prototype production, technology management consulting, certification, testing, and patent assistance.

A CIP Energy representative stated, “This selection will allow us to further accelerate commercialization and market entry.”
